Sauté mushrooms for about 5 minutes, with a tiny pinch of salt. This brings out the moisture. The pan will fill with water, sauté on medium-high heat until the moisture evaporates.
In a food processor or blender, add the Quick-Cook Lentils, instantoats, hot water, cookedrice, sautéedmushrooms, and seasonings. Pulse together. Try not to blend it, or it will turn into a paste. Patty them out.
Form mix into 6-8 patties. Let them stand for 15-20 minutes. Fry in oil over medium heat 5-7 minutes until browned on each side.
